Check anti-freeze concentration percentage in coolant
Check / top up fluid levels of coolant expansion tank, power steering fluid, clutch fluid reservoir, washer reservoirs & batters, as necessary, where applicable (in case of abnormal fluid loss a separate order is required to investigate & rectify)
Renew pollen filter (where applicable and additional charge)
Renew fuel filter element (where applicable and additional charge)
Check engine, transmission, rear axle & transfer box for damage & leaks (where applicable)
Check exhaust for routing & damage
Check the general condition of the underbody & PVC coated lower panels
Check wear & condition of tyres (note tread depth)
Torque rear suspension U-bolts to specification
Brake system - remove wheels, check brake pads & discs for wear. Check rear brake linings
Outside the Vehicle
Refill engine oil
Check brake fluid levels (in case of abnormal fluid loss a separate order is required to investigate & rectify)
Adjust tyre pressures, check wear & condition including spare
Check operation of load / passenger compartment lamps (where applicable)
Tighten wheel nuts to correct torque
Check ball joints for wear
Extended Period Maintenance
Renew brake fluid (every 2 years regardless of mileage, at extra cost)
Check / clean cooling system pressure cap, renew if there is evidence of seal deterioration (every 4 years regardless of mileage, at extra cost)
Drain, flush & refill cooling system (every 10 years regardless of mileage)
Renew front auxiliary drive belt, where filled (every 100,000 miles or 10 years) (where applicable and additional charge)
Renew rear auxiliary drive belt, where filled (every 100,000 miles or 10 years) (where applicable and additional charge)
Verify age of cambelt and advise customer
Interim Service Type:
Check operation of instrument gauges, warning / control lights & horn
Check operation and condition of exterior and respective control lights & instrument cluster illumination
Check handbrake operation (adjust where applicable)
Check / top up fluid levels of battery, as necessary (in case of abnormal fluid loss a separate order is required to investigate & rectify)
Grease battery terminals, clean if necessary
Check wiring, pipes, hoses, oil & fluid feed lines for routing, damage & leaks (where applicable and additional charge)
